I guess I just can't get enough of Jimmy Fallon. I think he is one of the brightest comedians that hosts a talk show. I suppose I could have just searched for it on Youtube, but instead, I got a chance to see that David Bowe ziggy stardust skit tonight when they showed reruns of all his musical skits because it was a travel day for the show, after having broadcast all week from the Super Bowl.

Your second post was a much more expensive and much larger scale problem. But this one had it's place in line as well. Why do you suppose people that don't really know about this stuff try to make these judgment calls anyway? You don't have to be a genius to figure out when you are in over your head and ask for help before you completely ruin everything.

If you get in over your head when you are asked to do something it is better to speak up from the beginning and say you don't know how, it is that simple, and it will save you embarrassment and the save the company hundreds if not thousands of dollars. This article was just as great as the other one and they both have very good information in them. Thank you for posting these.

If the business owner hadn't stepped in when he did his entire company could have been at risk. I hope the next time they hire a project planner that knows what they are doing. This kind of project is way to important and expensive to leave to just anybody. If you don't have anyone in the company that has the talent to do this then outsource it so you know it is done right.

This is just amazing, I am not sure what they were thinking when they put something like this in the hands of someone that didn't really know what they were doing. It is really too bad that the project planner didn't know enough about this project to make at least an educated decision that would have saved the company in the long run. Thank you for sharing this scary story with us.

Now that we are discussing hilarious Jimmy Fallon comedy routines, I should point out that Nick Burns the resident computer geek was only the beginning of Fallon's comedic channeling of characters. Most recently, he conjured up a character which is essentially David Bowe as his alter ego, Ziggy Stardust, on stage with a guitar singing a rendition of a famous song but dubbed as a tribute to Denver Broncos quarterback, Tim Tebow. I was more entertained by the outfit than the song.

As people and companies continue to feel the stressful pinch of a down trodden economy, the quality of customer service and project management efficiency will continue to suffer because businesses are forced to cut corners and avoid spending on the things they think are not absolutely necessary. Unfortunately (for consultants and the businesses themselves), the hiring of a software / IT consultant is widely considered a luxury and so a company won't spend on one. Little do they realize that the price for making that decision may be the life of the business.

Jimmy Falon was certainly funny in those circa 1990 Saturday Night Live skits, and he has remarkably remaind relevant and funny two decades later. I love to watch his late night talk show. And it is pretty entertaining this week in particular because he is hosting the show from Indianapolis from the site of the Super Bowl. I really like when entertainers center their show or comedy skits around the relevant news of the day. Maybe that is why he remains relevant.

I had fallen asleep early on Monday and Tuesday thinking I had missed Jimmy Fallon's late night talk show from the Super Bowl in Indianapolis, only to find out last night that Wednesday's show was the first telecast from the Super Bowl. They will continue broadcasting from there till Friday. Anyway, the show was very entertaining last night and they featured an appearance from none other than Tim Tebow. I look forward to the next two shows and of course, the game on Sunday.

I was reading your blog and on a side note I thought I would ask you about using the video clips from SNL, I have been reading blogs about how important it is to your web site to have pictures and videos so I was trying to update my site but like you I wanted to use a clip from something else, do you have to obtain permission to do that?
